Cookie Policy.

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser so it can remember something between pages or visits: that a form belongs to you, that your session is secure, or a preference you chose. Websites can also use the browser’s local storage for the same kinds of purpose, and the same rules apply to it. This policy covers both, and lists everything this site uses.

This is the complete inventory. If it isn’t in this table, this website doesn’t set it.

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate: which pages are read, how visitors move between them, and which content is useful. We use it to improve the site, not to identify anyone.

We also measure our advertising. If you arrive from one of our ads in ChatGPT and go on to request a free website audit, the OpenAI Ads pixel records that conversion so we can tell whether the campaign is worth running. The event it sends is the fact that an audit was requested, not the contents of your form. Data handled by OpenAI is covered by the OpenAI privacy policy.

The LinkedIn Insight Tag does the same job for our advertising on LinkedIn: it records that a visit or an enquiry followed one of our ads there, and gives us aggregate information about the kinds of professionals visiting the site. It does not tell us who you are. Data handled by LinkedIn is covered by the LinkedIn cookie policy.

The Microsoft Advertising tag does the same again for our advertising on Bing: it records that a visit or an enquiry followed one of our ads there. It measures our own campaigns, not you, and it does not tell us who you are. Data handled by Microsoft is covered by the Microsoft privacy statement.

HubSpot is the system we keep customer records in. Its cookie links the pages you visited to the enquiry you send us, so when you get in touch we can see which campaign or search brought you. It matters only if you contact us; for everyone else it records an anonymous visit.

None of these measurement tools exists on the page until you accept. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, none of the scripts is ever loaded and no measurement cookies are set. The site works identically either way. How analytics data is handled, including the safeguards applied to any transfer outside the UK, is described in our privacy notice.

Cookies in the UK are governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (Regulation 6) alongside UK GDPR. The rules were updated in February 2026: strictly necessary cookies need no consent, and limited statistical and appearance cookies may now run on a clear-information and opt-out basis.

Our approach is deliberately stricter than that minimum: analytics on this site remains consent-first. Nothing measures your visit unless you have said yes.
