Our Next-Generation CMS Is Coming, and It Will Be AI-Driven

If you’ve visited our website recently, you might have spotted a quiet little line tucked away on our home page: “Next: our brand-new, AI-driven CMS. Arriving soon.” It’s time to say a bit more about that. Only a bit, mind. But enough to explain why we’re more excited about what’s coming than anything we’ve built in sixteen years.

We’ve never stood still

Since 2009, every Tree View Designs website has run on a platform we built ourselves, with our own content management system underneath it. Never WordPress, never a shared theme, never someone else’s plugins. But just as importantly, never the same system for long. We don’t patch old technology and call it progress; we rebuild. The platform your practice runs on today is generations beyond the one we started with, and each generation has been rebuilt from the ground up around one question: what do GP practices and their patients actually need?

For the past while, our development team has been working on the answer to that question for the next decade. It is the biggest leap we have ever made, and it will be fully AI-driven.

The questions we set out to answer

We’re keeping the details back for launch, but we can tell you the questions that shaped it.

  • What if keeping your website up to date took minutes of your team’s week, not hours, and felt less like admin and more like a conversation?
  • What if accessibility and NHS guidance weren’t things you checked after the fact, but things the system quietly took care of while you worked?
  • What if your practice website simply looked after itself, and told you when it needed you, rather than the other way round?

We’re not going to tell you yet how far we’ve got with those questions. But we wouldn’t be writing this post if the answers weren’t worth teasing.

What we’re not telling you yet

Its name. The launch date. The feature list. What it looks like. All of that is coming, and it deserves a proper reveal rather than a paragraph in a teaser. For now it exists on our roadmap as the next generation of the platform, in the same spirit as every generation before it: built by us, from scratch, for general practice and nothing else.

The things that will never change

AI-driven does not mean principles-optional. Everything that has always been true of our platform will be true of this one, from day one:

  • Custom-built and owned end to end by us. Still never WordPress, still no plugins, still no shared themes.
  • UK-hosted, patient-data-first, and secured to the same standards our sites are known for.
  • Built around NHS England’s benchmarking criteria and WCAG accessibility from the first line of code, not bolted on at the end.
  • Backed by the same team, the same support, and the same belief that a practice website is a public service, not a brochure.

If you’re already with us

A special word for our existing practices: you will be among the first to see it. We’ll share more with you before we share it with anyone else, and when the time comes we’ll guide every practice through exactly what it means for them. There’s nothing you need to do, nothing changes today, and your website carries on exactly as it is. The next generation is something to look forward to, not something to plan around.

Watch this space

We’ll be sharing more over the coming months, right here on the blog and directly with our practices. Until then, the teaser on our home page says everything we’re ready to say: our brand-new, AI-driven CMS. Arriving soon.

Want to see it before anyone else?

Join the launch list and you’ll be first to hear the name, see the reveal, and get a look at what it can do.

And if you’re curious enough that waiting feels difficult, get in touch. We love talking about this one, even if we can’t tell you everything just yet.
